This excerpt for "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" talks about the different ideas of quality. Personnaly it confused me a lot. There was just so many exapmles and different ways to look at quality that i wasnt quite sure which one that the auther favored.
After dicussing it with my partner we came to the conclusion that the author defines quality as, aslways moving foward and changing. One example that he used to stress this was the train. The author says that a trian is always moving just like quality, it cant be seperated or the order cant be changed. The train or quality is always in new places, so its looked at in different ways, so different parts are the quality part at different time. Its just different points of veiws.
